Structure, scissors, tweezers & foliage mat.

Start with the basic tools required for building your own trees: a pair of sharp scissors, tweezers and cheap heavy hold hairspray.

Cut small strips of foliage mat. (products FM205 - FM210 ) Tease the strips with your fingers and tweezers into light airy pieces.

Carefully stretch the piece of foliage mat onto the limb of the tree. This doesn't require glue as the mat will 'stick' to the limb much like Velcro.

Spray the tree with a little hairspray to adhere the foliage to the limbs. Keep adding foliage to the tree in small strips and placing the strips along a horizontal plane as much as possible.

Trim the stray pieces using scissors to form the tree to your desire.

Stretch and tease the foliage mat.

Pull gently over armature of tree.

Adding foliage with tweezers and fingers.

Trim to perfection, almost done!
